Dr Kristina Reiss studied German & Slavic Studies, Intercultural Education & Feminist Philosophy in Magdeburg, Greifswald, Dnepropetrovsk (Ukraine) and Cardiff (Wales) University.
She submitted her doctoral thesis (Dr. phil.)at Greifswald University: „Genderawareness & language in East & West-Germany“, she was working at Goethe-Institut Helsinki, at University of Portsmouth, Oxford. Research stays at University of Madras/India and Cape Town/ South Africa.
Since 2012 at Hebrew University Jerusalem as DAAD-Lecturer for German Language, Culture & Literature.
Research interests: gender-sociolinguistics, transculture & sociocultural heterogenities & diversity, body-construction & religion.
